The front and back torso, an arm and leg, and finally the head. These drawing studies consist of the skeletal system, and the muscular system, and then I added in a robotics layer. I wanted to show the human figure in a traditional anatomical way and a futuristic way. (April 2018)All on 24"x 18" Sketch paper, vellum (type of transparent paper), and the second sheet of vellum. Materials used: graphite pencils, micron pens, and Copic Markers.
Contemporary Triptych: (May 2018)
This was my very last project in college. I wanted to make a collage, an expressive self-portrait, and a representative feeling. The college is to represent the issues of contemporary art. My expressive self-portrait portrays what's going on inside my head, while the background is a physical representation. Finally, the paintings with hands are that feeling right before getting starting in a virtual reality gaming console. For instance, I was testing out the Oculus Rift and this painting is representing how I felt. Losing my reality to a game. My expressive self-portrait portrays what's going on inside my head, while the background is a physical representation.
"Prosthetic Study" (April 2018)
